THE BALL METHOD is a short film starring Kiersey Clemons that tells the true story of Alice Ball, an African-American woman who found an effective treatment for leprosy at the age of twenty-three in 1915 Hawaii.

Sloan Foundation - The Sloan Foundation is a nationwide film program to support filmmakers at every stage of development who create narrative films about science and technology. The foundation's credo is that film can serve as a lens into society's most critical science and technology issues.
